Kundalini Shakti

kundalini

Originating from ancient yogic traditions and deeply rooted in Ayurveda, Kundalini Shakti highlights the balance of physical, mental, and spiritual energies for overall well-being. The word “Kundalini” comes from the Sanskrit term meaning “coiled energy,” symbolizing the dormant potential within every individual.

“Shakti” refers to divine power or energy, emphasizing the connection to your inner life force that, once awakened, travels upward through the chakras, clearing blockages, enhancing the flow of life energy throughout the body and bringing balance. It also helps release stress, boost focus, and foster emotional well-being, making it a perfect practice for those seeking a holistic way to heal and grow.
Guided by experienced practitioners in a serene and supportive environment, our Kundalini Shakti sessions at Liv Ayurveda are a safe and deeply fulfilling path to spiritual enlightenment. How to Practice Kundalini Shakti

Explore this simple guide to practice Kundalini Shakti for your overall well-being.

1. Find Your Peaceful Space

Find a peaceful space where you can relax and feel at ease. Sit on a cushion or mat with a straight spine. Create a calming environment by lighting a candle, burning incense, or playing soft, relaxing music.

2. Start with Gentle Stretches

Begin by loosening up your body with easy stretches or yoga poses like Cat-Cow Pose or Child’s Pose. This helps your body and mind be ready for the practice ahead.

3. Focus on Your Breathing

Take slow, deep breaths. Breathe in slowly through your nose, hold for a moment, then exhale gradually. Try alternate nostril breathing (Nadi Shodhana) to calm your mind and energize your body.

4. Visualize Your Energy

Close your eyes and imagine a coiled energy at the base of your spine. Visualize this energy gently awakening and rising upward, moving through your body’s energy centers (chakras).

5. Chant a Simple Mantra

Select a mantra such as “Om” or “Sat Nam,” which translates to “Truth is my identity”. Repeat it quietly or in your mind to center your thoughts and direct your energy.

6. Add Gentle Movements

Incorporate slow, rhythmic movements, like gently rocking your spine or making circular motions with your torso. This helps stimulate and guide the Kundalini energy.

7. End with Relaxation

Finish your practice by lying down in Savasana (Corpse Pose) or sitting quietly. Let your body absorb the energy and enjoy the feeling of calmness and balance.
