Netra Tarpana
The Sanskrit words “Netra” means “Eye” and “Tarpana” means “Nourishment”. Netra Tarpana is performed on the eyes by pooling warm medicated ghee in a compartment made of flour around both eyes. During the procedure, the patient is advised to open and close the eyes so that the herbs can be absorbed to deeper tissues.
