Theme: “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”

As the world unites to honour International Yoga Day 2025, Liv Ayurveda warmly invites you to an enriching evening dedicated to celebrating the timeless traditions of yoga and Ayurveda. Set in the heart of Parramatta, NSW, our celebration is rooted in the global theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, highlighting the interconnectedness of individual well-being and planetary health.

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or an absolute beginner, this event is crafted to nourish your body, mind, and spirit. From yoga and meditation to a delightful Ayurvedic dinner, our programme offers an immersive experience into holistic living.

Why Celebrate International Yoga Day with Liv Ayurveda?

International Yoga Day, observed every year on June 21, was initiated by the United Nations to raise awareness of the many benefits of practising yoga. In 2025, the celebration carries the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, promoting sustainability, inner peace, and collective well-being.

At Liv Ayurveda, we believe in holistic healing that connects the physical, mental, and emotional layers of the self. By integrating yoga and Ayurveda, two sister sciences that have stood the test of time, we offer a practical and enriching lifestyle solution in today’s busy world.

Our 2025 event is not just a session but a celebration that allows you to step into a sacred space of healing, reflection, community, and nourishment.

What’s Included in This Celebration?

Our four-hour program is carefully curated to provide a balanced and fulfilling experience, suitable for all levels from beginners to experienced practitioners.

  • Yoga Session – Beginner Friendly

We begin with a gentle yoga session designed to align the body and breath. Our experienced yoga teacher will guide you through asanas (postures) that help improve flexibility, strength, and inner awareness. Don’t worry if you’re new to yoga the practice is tailored to accommodate all levels, and you’ll be guided with care and clarity.

  •  Pranayama – Breath is Life

The breath is the bridge between the body and the mind. In this pranayama (breath control) session, you will learn ancient breathing techniques that calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote mental clarity. This session is both practical and empowering, equipping you with tools you can take home and apply in your daily life.

  • Guided Meditation – Discover Inner Stillness

Meditation is at the heart of both yoga and Ayurveda. Through guided meditation, we help you slow down and reconnect with your inner self. The session will be ideal for those who find it hard to sit still or meditate on their own. Our step-by-step approach ensures even first-timers can enjoy the peace that meditation offers.

  • Ayurvedic Talk – Living the Wisdom Daily

This session will introduce you to Ayurvedic daily routines (Dinacharya) that promote health and vitality. Learn how small yet powerful habits like tongue scraping, oil pulling, and seasonal eating can enhance your energy, sleep, digestion, and immunity. The session also includes insights into body types (doshas) and how to live in harmony with nature’s rhythms.

  • 3-Course Ayurvedic Dinner + Chai

No celebration is complete without food and what better way to conclude the evening than with a lovingly prepared Ayurvedic sattvic meal? Enjoy a nourishing, balanced, and flavourful 3-course dinner, followed by freshly brewed Ayurvedic chai. Each dish is cooked with healing herbs and spices that support digestion and well-being.

This shared meal will also be an opportunity for warm conversations, community connection, and informal Q&A with our team.

Yoga for One Earth, One Health What It Means

This year’s theme calls for a harmonious relationship between personal well-being and the health of the planet. Yoga teaches us unity within ourselves and with nature. Ayurveda shows us how to live in sync with the seasons, our body type, and natural cycles.

By adopting these practices, we create a ripple effect:

  • We eat consciously and reduce waste.
  • We manage stress and reduce dependence on medication.
  • We cultivate compassion and promote social well-being.
  • We heal ourselves and inspire others.

At Liv Ayurveda, we believe that healing the Earth begins with healing ourselves. This celebration is an opportunity to take that first step – joyfully and meaningfully.
