Ayurveda Spa

Treatment in Ayurveda is broadly classified into two categories. They are Aturasevana; the treatment of patients and their diseases and Swasthavritta- the care for the maintenance of health and well-being of a healthy person. There are chapters dedicated to Swasthavritta in Ayurveda called dinacharya (daily regimen) and ritucharya (seasonal regimen) which contain instructions of how to maintain a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle by following a set of simple yet highly effective instructions. (Please insert link of dinacharya and ritucharya here).

The procedures mentioned in swasthavritta are beneficial to us in many aspects and should be made a part of our daily routine. But again, in the busy and hectic world we live in, how many of us commit to daily dose of self-care? Are you struggling to find the time and energy to take care of yourselves? Don’t worry, Ayurveda spa care can help you.

Here at Liv Ayurveda, we combine the principles of swasthavritta and relaxation techniques so that you get to experience authentic Ayurveda and spa procedures at its best. We use classical Ayurveda formulations in our spa services so that you get to experience the benefits of Ayurveda along with the experience of unwinding your mind and body.

Ayurveda considers each person to be unique and it is important to cater to the specific needs of each of our patients. We select the products to be used in the spa services based on the dosha and prakruti (Ayurveda mind body type) of an individual. This unique process helps the person to get the best of both worlds- treatment through Ayurveda and a luscious pampering of your senses.

According to body type and season, Ayurveda recommends a number of routines for self-care. Abhyanga (Ayurveda oil massage), Udwartana (Ayurveda scrub), Champi (Head massage) to name a few. Massage is an integral part of spa treatment and is mentioned in the chapter of dinacharya (daily regimen) in Ayurveda classics. Massages are to be done regularly by healthy people. It is a great way to relax and strengthen your muscles, improve lymphatic drainage and also to put away all the pain and sores from the body. It also has a very relaxing effect on your mind as the rhythmic strokes help to improve blood circulation, stimulate the nerve endings and also calm the mind. We also have Ayurveda body scrub, face care, hair care and foot care available at Liv Ayurveda.

From soothing herbalised sesame oils to revitalizing Multani mitti (Fuller’s earth), Ayurveda offers a range of skin care and hair care herbs that has been used by millions over thousands of years. They are available in traditional as well as contemporary combinations for specific wellness benefits.

Our aim at Liv Ayurveda is to ensure that our clients experience authentic Ayurveda from the moment they walk in through our doors. The service ends with an herbal tea in a meditation room with calming music to ensure that you have the best and authentic experience of Ayurveda with us and you leave Liv Ayurveda energized and revitalized!
